Tuberculosis Skin Test (PPD)

Tuberculosis is a highly contagious health condition that destroys the immune system and the respiratory system if left untreated for a very long time. Our staff will inject a small portion of PPD under the flesh on your arm.

You will then return to the facility after 2 to 3 days so we can check to see if the injected spot has swelled or not. This will be used to determine the results of your test.
